Attracting diverse top talent to Post Office…
At Post Office we value the diversity of our people and encourage our colleagues to bring their whole selves to work. The things which make us different are accepted, valued and celebrated.
We are proud of the progress that we’ve made so far in making Post Office an inclusive place to work – and that our people reflect the diversity of the communities in which we live and work, and of course, the customers we serve.
We want to continue to attract and retain talented people who wouldn’t necessarily think of us as an employer of choice and bridge the gap between perception and reality.
That’s why we have recently partnered with Vercida, a leading diversity and inclusion organisation who work with employers committed to Diversity and Inclusion, Equality and Accessibility.
Through Vercida’s fully accessible online platform, we have developed a great page that shouts about why the Post Office is a great place to work. We’ll be advertising our current vacancies here, talking about our benefits and inclusive features – and sharing all of the latest news from Post Office reaching over 200,000 job seekers every month. We’re really excited to bring together all our internal initiatives relating to our values, culture and diversity to really “showcase” who we are as an organisation.
We know that a diverse and inclusive culture isn’t just the right thing to do by our people, but it also makes good business sense:
- Better connection with customers;
- Increase in productivity;
- Increase employee engagement;
- Improved financial performance.
