A community celebration was held on 13 June, to mark the official opening of a brand-new Post Office at Your Co-op Food Rose Hill.
Sue Spicer, Head of Post Office Operations at Your Co-op, “cut the ribbon” today to mark the official opening of Rose Hill Post Office at the existing Your Co-op Food store at 74 Rose Hill, Oxford, OX4 4HS.
At the Post Office we are continually looking to refresh our network and ensure we meet our customer needs. Working closely with Your Co-op Food we identified an opportunity to open a new branch in the Rose Hill area of Oxford.
This new branch features a customer service point, as well as a self-service kiosk for sending mail and home shopping returns. It also offers customers a wide range of other services including cash, car tax renewal, passport checks and send, on demand and pre-order currencies and MoneyGram.
Sue Spicer, Head of Post Office Operations at Your Co-op, said: “The Post Office provides vital services for the local community and we’re pleased to open this new facility in our Rose Hill store.
“Our local members and customers will be able to make use of the great Post Office services, while also being able to pick up fantastic products and everyday essentials.”
The new Rose Hill Post Office is available: Monday – Friday: 9am – 5.30pm; Saturday: 9am – 2pm. This offers customers 47 hours and 30 minutes of Post Office service a week, making it very convenient for customers to visit. Your Co-op Food is open Monday to Sunday: 7am – 11pm.
Damien Haydock, Post Office Partner Account Manager, said: “At the Post Office we are continually looking to refresh our network to ensure we meet customer needs. We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best.
“We know how important our services are to customers, and we are confident that this brand-new Post Office will ensure that people in the Rose Hill area of Oxford have easy access to our services.”
