Freedom of Information Requests and Responses
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) 2004 give the public the right of access to information held by public authorities. As a public authority, Post Office receives a variety of requests for information every day.
To submit a request for information under the FOIA or the EIR, please contact the Information Rights team at information.rights@postoffice.co.uk. Prior to submitting your request, you may wish to check our disclosure log below as it’s possible that the information you’re looking for might already be publicly available. If you are unable to find the information you need, please feel free to submit a request. We aim to respond to all requests in full within 20 working days. Some cases may be more complex and take longer, but we will always advise further.
Post Office also has an obligation to adopt and maintain a publication scheme. You can find out more about this here.
