The Post Office continues to serve millions of customers each week, standing as the UK’s largest retail network and a cornerstone of the nation’s postal, financial, and government service infrastructure. With a legacy spanning over 380 years, Post Offices remain essential to communities across the country.
As of the end of March 2025, there were 11,683 Post Office branches in operation. Of these, 11,572 branches were run by independent Postmasters and retail partners, reflecting the strength and reach of our franchised network.

This list contains information on the Post Office network as at the end of March 2024. Post Office intends to publish an updated list (correct at the end of March) annually by the end of December each year.
