On 19 June 2024, we became aware that an unredacted copy of a legal document with the personal data of some postmasters had been mistakenly published on Post Office’s corporate website. We would like to express our sincere apologies for this error. We take security, confidentiality and how we protect data we hold very seriously. The document was immediately removed, an investigation started and those affected are being contacted. The Information Commissioner’s Office was also notified, and we are co-operating fully with its investigation.
